Sweet, Billy Corgan Brings Back The Pumpkins. The Smashing Pumpkins, that is. I'm pretty thrilled, even if I prefer the earlier stuff (Gish, and especially Siamese Dream) I wonder why all of these late-eighties/early-nineties bands are reforming over the last year or two? The hope for resurging album sales?

Don't get me wrong, my hand always wants to start turning knobs clockwise when I hear stuff off of Siamese Dream, but Mr. Corgan sounds he may need to take this diagnostic. One week he's bad mouthing Iha (whom this author thinks was the real heart of that band), the next he wants to reform the pumpkins?
